Self Portrait

Here is a cross contour of myself looking into the mirror.  I gave the go-tee and my eyebrows some color just so it didn't look too bad, but I think it turned out pretty good and I had fun doing it.

Shell Drawings

Here are my shell drawings from the second semester of class.  We had to use ink wash and highlight the features of the shell to give them some 3d form on top of their contour lines.  My first attempt was horrible b/c the paper ripped on me and I basically gave up.  The same thing happened on the second one but I went with it and it turned out well.

Here are my arm and shoulder muscles from my manikin

Back

Here are the muscles from the back of my manikin

Calves

Here are some pics of the calves on my manikin:

Maniken

Here are some pics of my manikin featuring the shoulder girdle.  The manikin is finished at this point.

Chest

We didn't have the opportunity to draw a male figure's chest, so I really don't have a good drawing to illustrate my understanding of the chest.  Here is the best one I could find going through my collection of drawings.

Shoulder Girdle

Here is a drawing of a shoulder girdle from class.  It is much more difficult to draw the shoulder girdle b/c there are a few more complicated parts and more complicated planes to understand.  Once you learn the muscle structure of shoulders and chest it becomes a little easier to understand and draw.

Skulls

Drawing skulls was a lot of fun-I have always wanted to draw these, but it is really hard to get your hands on a replica skull outside of school.  It is amazing to see all the little details and plane changes.  Here are my skull drawings from class-I'm pretty happy with them and I learned a lot from sitting in front of an actual skull for some time and learning all the little contours again.
